Pan de Azúcar

I don’t  like beach very much, but ones I really fall in love with a beautiful beach, It’s on north of the country  in Atacama, this name is “Pan de Azúcar”(means sugar loaf )  in borough Caldera.

Pan de Azucar is a gorgeous place, and very important too, because is a natural reserve, in 1985 was proclaim National Park. This Park is between the and the desert and  have many attractive, one of them is a very weird kind of rocks calls “orbicular rocks” (granito orbicular in Chile), that are only in six place of the whole world, and looks like leopard spots.

You can go for a walk and see wonderful things that you can’t found in other place of Chile, the second deepest trench of the world, several kind of cactus, some very tall and impressive and some very little but with very peculiar and beautiful flowers and the Humbolt’s penguin Island and believed or not, this island in front of the most dry desert of the world really have penguins!

In the way to the park are small fisher settlement called “Caleta Pan de Azucar” where you can eat tipical food and talk whit the fishermen,  are little beach to swim for later follow to the most amazing place of the Park.  In this place you have a great view of the Pacific Ocean  but from the very high cliff and if you look for west you can see the Atacama Desert in all its splendor, for this reason this landscape is magical.

Great view, isn't?

The best

don't know about who must to write, I admire many people, but no exactly “famous” people. I admire many Chileans, for example, some writer like María Luisa Bombal,  the story “El Árbol” it’s one of my favorite, Hernán Rivera Letelier with “Santa MAría de las flores negras” and finally  Nicanor Parra a total genius in all his work. Some musician changed my life, when I was little my mother raised me been listen Illapu, Inti Illimani  (and some no Chilean artist like Silvio Rodriguez and Sui Generis) she was saying  that “Mazapan” was for the “cuicos” (high class people) jajajja that always makes funny.  Now a days I still enjoy the Chilean music and my favorit artist is no well known but his talent is huge, Tata Barahona is a fantastic troubadour and the “Kuervos del Sur” (South’s crows) are one of the best fusion rock that I ever hear.
I really don’t must choose any of them, they was huge clearly, but the best chilean for me always  be my mom, she rocks.
My mother’s family was very poor, and they live in a very poor dweller. My family always worked doing mattress, mi grandma sewed them and my grandpa stuffed them. My mom fight for has a career and studied to be chemical technician. She  worked in “Universidad Católica de Chile” many years, but she was fired for his political work in the worker union. When she was fired she don’t stop to do stuff, but en 2004 cancer was diagnosed and she have to stopped to do anything. Was a very harsh and sad period of our life, but after surgery  and a very long medical treatment, she was fine and everybody in the family can get over it and go on. She never stopped since then, studied to be a paramedic and work in a psychiatric clinic, after she studied geriatrics and after then she studied business management and create a little business. She is really a great woman, the best Chilean to me.
es la más bonita...

I  like the sociology but sometime I really think that I Will  do something different in the future.
I always love fixed stuff in my house. With my mom always makes arrangements at house, in the appliance or other house's stuff.   I  would very much do some course about electronic, learn about circuit, I think that is very interest fun and useful. I like to learn other stuff to improve my house like gardening and my true passion: decoration.
I always wanted to be a decorator, when I was a child I watched many  tv shows about this topics. My favorite channel was “People&Art”, as there I watched many British shows about decoration, I didn’t knew the real names of this show, only the translation, my favorites was “mi casa, tu casa” and “mientras no estabas”, both were amazing!
I really love learn about decoration and dedicate mi time to decorate my house and maybe work in that in the future.  One day (after graduate of sociology) I will study decoration in some little institute, I don’t want study in university again, is so tiring and need so much time, that I bore only with think about.
In the future, I will study carpentry and crafts  but no goldsmith, mosaic of something like that.

I don’t wanted doing this post, because I don’t go to restaurants many often. I think that is because three reasons, the first is that I don’t like fancy places, the second reason is that I love cooking especially with my friends and guest and the third reason is that I don’t have so much money and when I have it I prefer spent  in other stuff, or bought supplies for cooking at home.
However I try to go to “Mercado Central” one a month for eat great sea food. I love sea food and fish but in my house don’t eat it because my sister is allergic. This place is in Independencia, next to metro station "Cal y Canto"
The market have a central place when are the most "famous" restaurant, but those are the most expensive to. But in the hallways are very tiny places when the food is wonderful and very inexpensive. In front of the market is “Mercado de abastos Tirso de Molina” there are sea food too, typical Chilean food and also Colombian and Peruvian food too. The food are delicious and very inexpensive, you can eat a lunch for 2000 pesos. I go some times with my friend to buy supplies to La Vega and go to eat together to some this places.

Los de siempre ...

In general my holidays don’t includes many trips, because my family never had enough money or time to travel, besides my relatives are from Santiago, so we don’t have family to visit in others cities. My “big trips” in the last years has been for the university, when in 2009 I traveled to Buenos Aires for the Latin-American congress of sociology’s student (ALAS) and 2011 to Uruguay for Latin-American congress of students (CLAE), and this last time also passed the Argentinian city Mendoza.
Althought I haven't traveled farther distance on holidays, I definitely was enjoy travels nearest and simples.
About two years ago, me and all my friends from high school went to summer vacations together.

Was one of the best trips ever! For few weeks we sold stuff on internet, sold food and many things here in Santiago to collect money for vacations, and finally in February we went to Valparaiso but only eight of our group could go. When we arrive to Valparaiso we went to rest to beach and later have a big lunch of seafood in the market of the city. We went to Recreo hill  to stayed in the floor of my friend’s sister. We were so lazy that we got up about noon every day, played videogames, but were go to the fishing cove to bought seafood almost every day, we all lunched together and were to touring around.
We met most of the Valpo and Viña del Mar. For the nights we were to dance and hang out to a club of my ex-boyfriend's classmate so we don’t pay for anything (was great). We stayed in Recreo almost two weeks and later we travelled to my grandma’s place in El Tabo. My grandma and grandpa have a piece of land in the hills of the this town and we stayed in a little cottage in there. The peaceful of the place and stay all together in the forest was beautiful, and we went to beach or  Isla Negra almost every day. Was a beatifull holiday with the most important people in my life, my “other family”… we are friends about fifteen year now, and I suspect that we have many trips ahead

Gustavito

A long time ago I  wrote about my favourite music and today I going to write about my favourite singer in the whole world: Gustavo Cerati <3.
Gustavo Cerati begun to play guitar very young and after to plays in a few bands, he join to Zeta Bosio y Charly Alberti to integrate Soda Stereo in 1983.
Soda Stereo is one of the most famous Latin-American band, their music and style are incomparable, but althought Soda Stereo dissolves in 1997, Gustavo begun to experiment soloist proyect in 1993 with his record “Amor Amarillo”.  This is the first record of the long  list of success of Gustavo without Soda Stereo.
One of my favourite things about Gustavo is his huge talent for write, his lyrics are very deep and poetics, and his talent for play the guitar is recognizing for many artist around the world.
The versatility of Gustavo is huge and we can see it in his different records, for example “Amor Amarillo” And “Bocanada”(Recorded on 1999) have a very soft sound and lyrics with deep contents focused in the tangential moment on Gustavo’s family. In his musical career he experiment a lot with electronic music, begun with his wife Cecilia Amenabar, that is a great DJ, and continued incorporated in his recordings before their breakup on 2002. This electronic sound is clear in many songs but definitely my favourite is the rocker facet, he’s a total Rock Star, and we can see this principally in the disc "Siempre es hoy" and “Ahí Vamos”. When he released this record I been pass for very complex and sad period of my life, for this it’s very important to me.
He’s a poet, smart and deep, a great compositor and guitar player and also a gorgeous man, for all these reason he always be my favourite musician in the world.

The next song isn’t one of my favourites but have one phrase that I used like a motto for life:
"Flow without an end to flow more…

もののけ姫

Today I felt very ill and stayed in home and althought I don’t watch Anime often, I decide watch a movie of wich a friend spoken to me: “ The Mononoke Princess” .
This movie start when a little village is attacked for a demon that use to be a giant wild board,  wounding and curse to village’s prince. The prince Ashitaka had to start a long trip to achieve stop the curse and affront his imminent death.
In his trip, Ashitaka arrived to “The iron city” that is in fierce war with the Forest and the gods that live in there. It's here where he met  San, the Mononoke Princess (the princess of the revenge's spirits) raised by wolves and untired warrior for expulse the human of the forest.  In the depth of the woods lives the Shishigami o the great Spirit of the forest that can give o take the life.

This movie shows the confrontation between the human ambition and the real spirit of the nature, the harmony that maintains the world in equilibrium, and how the hate can destroy our self and all around us.

It's a wonderful movie, that regrettably show the worst of the human side, the unconscious depredation of the environment, the destruction of the nature, the cruelty and evilness that we can have only for money or power, but also show the real power of nature and the goodness and passion for saving it, how we can catch up the knowledge when we achieve “see with clarity, without hate in the heart”. <3
